30 Days of Night

On a remote stretch of Alaska, winter seals the town in continuous night for a full lunar cycle each year. As the sun vanishes, a predatory group of vampires sweeps in with the cold and the snow, hunting without mercy. The few who survive band together, hunkering down in isolated homesteads, gas stations, and the church hall while siege tactics and fear test their nerves. Amid this siege, Eben and Stella Oleson a married pair of police officers push themselves to protect neighbors and friends, rationing fuel, sharing grim jokes, and guarding the last light of civilization.
