Absolution

Absolution follows an aging ex-boxer who rose through Boston's criminal circles as a reliable muscle for a powerful crime boss. After a medical diagnosis, his memory begins to slip and the life he left behind feels out of reach. He fights to repair ties with his estranged children and to leave something his grandson might remember. He clings to small acts of honesty, showing up for moments he missed before. Yet the same underworld refuses to let him go, pressing him with threats that drag him back into danger. Loyalties collide as he decides what to keep for redemption, balancing old loyalties with a chance at something healthier.

Directed by Hans Petter Moland from a concept by Tony Gayton, Absolution stars Liam Neeson, Ron Perlman, Yolonda Ross, Frankie Shaw and Daniel Diemer. The action crime thriller was produced with a 30 million budget and released in 2024.
