The Chase

Eleven years after a kidnapping case ends in tragedy, inspector Malik bears the weight of a failure he has never fully escaped. With the clock ticking on whether the investigation will be filed away as unsolved, he chooses to reopen the old files, driven by a promise to the mother and a vow to himself to seek truth. As he reexplores dusty clues, a new child disappears in a disturbingly familiar pattern. The pattern is not coincidental, Malik suspects, and the danger feels personal. He only has a handful of days to confront what went wrong and to push for true justice before it slips away again.
