Æon Flux

Set roughly four centuries ahead, life on Earth has been reshaped by a plague that decimated most of humanity, leaving a single city called Bregna under a closed government run by scientists. Æon Flux, the elite operative of the underground Monican rebellion, is dispatched to eliminate a powerful figure within the regime. Her mission quickly becomes tangled in a web of guarded secrets, shifting loyalties, and an unsettling blend of ritual obedience and technocratic control. As she probes, Æon discovers that appearances conceal a much deeper order, and that even trusted allies within the rebellion may hide agendas of their own.
