Former professional football player Terry Brogan hits rock bottom after a career-ending setback. With bills piling up and options running dry, a crooked nightclub owner named Jake Wise offers a tempting payday if Terry travels to Mexico to locate his girlfriend, Jessie Wyler. Desperate for cash, Terry accepts, hoping to salvage some dignity and start fresh. In Mexico, he tracks Jessie down only to discover a spark between them that complicates his mission.
