Alvin and the rambunctious brothers end up under the care of Dave Seville's twenty-something nephew Toby when a mishap brings them into town. The trio is used to singing to cheering crowds, but now they must juggle school schedules, homework and a new hometown routine. They plot to reinvent themselves as a believable school act while keeping their signature harmonies intact.
