Toshihiko Tanaka transfers into Kakegawa High with two friends, Kenji and Kazuhiro, all chasing a shared dream to prove themselves on the school soccer team. They idolize Yoshiharu Kubo, a star with a reputation that seems almost impossible to match, and the trio longs to stand beside him. Only Toshi is ready to risk it all, while his teammates hesitate. He keeps pushing, and slowly they sign on with the team, drawn by the chance to compete.
