Bonkers

Bonkers follows the energetic misadventures of Bonkers D. Bobcat, a cartoon cop who swaps the stage lights of a living cartoon world for the rough streets of a city that still feels cartoonish. Paired with Miranda Wright, a savvy human detective, he tackles cases that blend slapstick fantasy with everyday crime solving. The premise lets animation and reality rub elbows, turning every clue into a chance for bright gags and outlandish chases while letting audiences see how a toon's instincts collide with real world rules. The series premiered in 1993 in first run syndication and also aired as part of The Disney Afternoon, heading toward a conclusion in 1995. It later surfaced on Toon Disney before disappearing in 2004.
