Boston Blue follows NYPD detective Danny Reagan as he swaps the familiar skyline of New York for Boston's tougher, more intimate streets. He joins a crack Boston PD unit and is paired with Det Lena Silver, a smart and determined officer who carries a history with the city and its people. The Silver family runs through the precinct like a second police department, District Attorney Mae Silver, Police Superintendent Sarah Silver, a rookie cop named Jonah Silver, and Rev. Edwin Peters, a trusted community voice. Danny hopes the move will give him space to reconnect with his son Sean, who remains back in New York. In Boston, every case nudges a personal decision, and loyalties are tested.
