Checco lives a life of ease as the only son of Eugenio Zalone, a wealthy sofa manufacturer, spending his days by pools, aboard his yacht and surrounded by people who keep his comfort intact. That routine breaks when his underage daughter Cristal disappears, a fact that pulls him abruptly out of luxury and into responsibility. Called to Rome by his ex-wife Linda, Checco has to piece together who Cristal is and where she might be, even though he knows almost nothing about her life. The search exposes gaps in his knowledge, forces awkward adjustments to parenting and generates a string of comic mishaps without revealing the story's ultimate outcomes. The tone remains comic even as stakes occasionally feel unexpectedly real.
