Call Me Kat

Call Me Kat follows Kat, a 39-year-old woman determined to live life on her own terms despite constant pressure from her mother and from social expectations about marriage and family. Rather than take the conventional route, she uses her life savings to open a cat café in Louisville, Kentucky, turning it into a gathering place that reflects her values and sense of humor. The series traces the daily work of running a small business, the friendships and romantic detours that come with being single later in life, and the pushback she faces from family while she builds a life defined by choice, not other people's timetables. Her tense, funny relationship with her mother supplies ongoing comic friction.
