Captivated

Rachel is a single mother scraping by on the margins, cleaning all day to keep her son fed and sheltered. When a prosperous businessman offers her better pay and shorter hours, she takes the chance, hoping for stability. As she moves into his orbit, small inconsistencies and awkward demands pile up, and Rachel begins to question why he helped and what he expects in return. The show follows her shifting priorities, the tension between gratitude and suspicion, and how everyday survival can blur lines of power and choice without revealing major plot twists or final outcomes.

Released in 2024, Captivated is directed by Megan K. Fox and created by David Leon, Cameron McAllister, and Nessah Muthy. The principal cast includes Kara Tointon as Rachel, Allen Leech as Elliott Fielding, Charlie Hodson-Prior, Taj Atwal, and Sara Powell.
