Cowboy Bebop

Set in 2071, when a hyperspace accident left Earth largely uninhabitable, humanity has spread across the solar system to diverse colonies. In this rough future, crime is rampant and the police armada licenses bounty hunting as a regulated trade. Teams of roaming bounty hunters, known as Cowboys, chase fugitives across ships, stations and barren moons, collecting rewards for bringing targets in alive. The series follows a mismatched crew aboard the starship Bebop, including Spike Spiegel, a cool former assassin; Jet Black, a stubborn former cop; Faye Valentine, a hard luck con artist; the genius hacker Ed and their loyal dog Ein. Each mission blends tense action, offbeat humor and character driven moments, building a mood of cool detachment tempered by occasional warmth.
