Three childhood friends, Lucy, Kit, and Mimi, are suddenly thrown back together after years apart when a spontaneous cross country road trip becomes their ticket to rediscovering who they are. With almost no plan and almost no cash, they set off in Mimi's friend Ben's convertible, chasing big dreams rather than a safe itinerary. The miles bring a string of misadventures, late night talks, and small victories that reveal how much each woman has changed since they last rode alongside one another. As the expedition unfolds, they learn to listen to their own hearts and to protect the desires that still drive them forward. Along the way they confront fears about home and commitment reevaluating what they owe to themselves.

Directed by Tamra Davis, Crossroads hails from an original concept by Shonda Rhimes. The collaboration brings a glossy teen drama tone to a road trip premise featuring a pop star in her first big film role for a new generation.

Crossroads earned approximately 61.14 million worldwide, on a budget of about 12 million. The return places it in the realm of successful mid tier teen dramas. Its financial performance helped keep doors open for star vehicles in 2000s for fans.
