Diana moves through luxury rooms and damp backstreets, running from a killer who seems to always be one step behind. Without sight she must depend on sounds, textures, and memory to navigate a world that becomes more treacherous. The stalker closes in as the city hums around her and the fear she carries tightens the tension. A fragile connection with Rita, a wary ally who tries to help, gives Diana a glimmer of hope amid the looming danger. A second thread follows the detective tasked with untangling the violence and piecing together the wake of loss.
