Baili Dongjun is the indulgent young master of the Marquis of Zhenxi who'd rather perfect his liquor than practice swordplay, because of a childhood promise to be the Liquor Deity while his friend would be the Sword Deity. Fate, however, nudges him toward martial training when he becomes a disciple of the revered Li Changsheng. He reunites with Ye Yun, now going by Ye Dingzhi, and meets Yue Yao, who also uses the name Yin Luoxia, plus the wandering Sikong Changfeng and the steady Yi Wenjun. Together they form an unlikely circle, mixing competitions, rivalries and lighthearted moments as they roam the martial world, test bonds and learn what skill and responsibility require.

Released in 2024, Dashing Youth is directed by Chen Zhoufei and created by Munan Zhou, Lin Qiao and 午上. The main cast includes Hou Minghao, He Yu, Hu Lianxin, Xia Zhiguang and Jiang Zhenyu, and it emphasizes period production design.
