When Hina Tsurugi and her family move to a sleepy seaside town, she hopes for quiet days by the ocean but quickly finds something unexpected. While exploring the shoreline she meets Yuuki Kuroiwa, an upperclassman who loves fishing and invites Hina out on a trip. A startled encounter with an octopus leaves Hina frightened and pleading for help, and Yuuki uses the moment to rope her into the school's Breakwater Club, where students catch, cook, and share marine treats.
