Twenty-five years after a cataclysmic angelic war reshaped Earth, humanity survives inside fortified cities under constant threat. Angels led by Gabriel possess and attack, while the archangel Michael breaks ranks and protects mankind. In Vega, once Las Vegas, rival noble houses struggle for control of scarce resources and political power. As tensions escalate, young soldier Alex Lannen chafes at military life and questions loyalties, drawing him into conflicts that mix street-level violence with high-stakes supernatural warfare.
