In a bustling metropolis where people made of fire, water, earth and air live side by side, Ember is a hotheaded young woman raised in a tight-knit immigrant family who runs a small shop. Wade is a relaxed, resourceful guy who goes with the flow and dreams of doing more than his day job. When their paths cross, awkward misunderstandings and everyday hazards test their ability to get along. As they spend time together, they learn that difference doesn’t mean incompatibility, that family expectations shape choices, and that small acts of care can bridge wide cultural gaps. The film follows their growing connection without revealing how everything ends.
