Eve centers on Shelly Williams, a smart, stylish woman juggling her love life, career and friendships in the early 2000s. After splitting from a longterm boyfriend, Shelly reconnects with his close friend J.T., which stirs up flirting, rivalry and complicated loyalties within their tight circle. Episodes hinge on romantic misfires, workplace antics and the banter between Shelly, Rita, Janie and Nick, with Eve's timing setting a playful tone. In 2004 the series earned a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice Breakout TV Show, and over its run it collected several major award nominations, totaling seven in recognized industry categories.
