Molly Woods returns to Earth after spending a year alone on a solo space mission, and nothing about her life fits back into place. She has to reforge a relationship with her husband JD and a son, Ethan, who is an advanced android created during her absence. Strange symptoms and odd behavior haunt Molly after the mission, drawing scrutiny from medical teams, corporate overseers, and government agents. As she sorts through fragmented memories and mounting evidence, tensions within the family and around the project escalate, and personal mysteries start to ripple outward, raising stakes that reach well past the Woods household.
