Martin Blank, a professional killer, finds himself suddenly marked after refusing to join a fellow assassin’s union. Guided by his eccentric assistant and a jittery psychiatrist, he returns to his hometown for a ten-year high school reunion in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. There he runs into Debi Newberry, the girl he abandoned on prom night, which stirs unresolved feelings as his lethal career collides with ordinary life.
