Steve McGarrett comes home to Oahu after his Navy SEAL father is murdered, intent on tracking down who's responsible. Offered broad authority by the governor, he assembles an elite state task force nicknamed Five-0 to pursue major crimes across the islands. He initially teams with Danny "Danno" Williams, Chin Ho Kelly, and Kono Kalakaua, and over time the roster expands to include Adam Noshimuri, Tani Rey, and Junior Reigns.
