Hear Me

Ekim is a working-class high school student whose life is shaken when her friend Leyla is struck by a car that disappears into the grounds of an elite private school. The neighborhood demands answers, and the school tries to defuse the backlash by offering scholarships to three promising teens, including Ekim. Thrust into an unfamiliar world of privilege, Ekim becomes convinced a student is to blame and starts her own investigation. She has to juggle new social pressures, friendships, and a budding romantic tension that complicates what should be a straightforward search for justice, while adults around her close ranks and guard their secrets.
