Hi-Five

One dark night a body donated for organ transplants vanishes into ash. Soon after, five recipients awaken with extraordinary abilities. A teenage girl discovers super strength, a hipster can bend electromagnetic waves, a novelist conjures gusts of wind, a factory manager heals with his touch, and a woman unlocks a mysterious power. They form HI-FIVE, a reluctant but capable team determined to help others and face threats together. But they aren’t the only ones transformed. A cult leader who received the pancreas gains life draining power and sets sights on stealing HI-FIVE's gifts to rule with godlike control. Along the way they clash with misunderstandings, groups, and a citywide mystery that tests whether power is a gift or a trap.
