Kit Li, a hard edged fighter who once lost his wife to the villain known as The Doctor, works as a bodyguard and doubles for a flashy but chicken hearted action star named Frankie Lane. When Frankie attends a high profile display of Russia's crown jewels at a crowded Hong Kong hotel, The Doctor's gang storms the venue to pull off a daring heist. Kit is the only man who can stand in their way and keep the jewels safe. Along the way, Frankie must find his nerve, and Kit finds himself drawn to a curious reporter named Joyce.
