Hijack 1971

Two pilots Tae-in and Gyu-sik are preparing a Gimpo bound flight when flight attendant Ok-soon shepherds the boarding process and keeps the cabin orderly. Shortly after the aircraft leaves the runway, an improvised explosive device detonates, turning the ride into a deadly emergency. As alarms howl and the interior grows tense, crew members and passengers face a dangerous uncertainty while trying to regain control of the situation. The film focuses on the claustrophobic pressure inside the cabin and the difficult decisions people must make when fear and suspicion run high, setting a taut stage for what follows without revealing twists.
