A brilliant but cold-hearted hotelier, Goo Chan-sung, accepts a strange job managing a centuries-old inn that caters only to spirits. The hotel is run by Jang Man-wol, a glamorous, quick-tempered proprietor who's trapped in an otherworldly existence tied to the building. As Chan-sung struggles to apply modern hotel standards to a place outside normal time, he and Man-wol clash, bargain, and slowly reveal pieces of each other's pasts.
