When Dawn and Athas come across a mysterious boy who wakes with no memory, they bring him into Freewheel Town where he is called Pandora. Soon after his arrival he becomes the target of the Ancient Hunter Group, an organization insisting he fulfill some cryptic 'Great Mission'. With help from Jin and a band of friends the group wards off a first attack, and Pandora begins to adapt to daily life while sharpening unusual abilities. As he trains with his new companions, strange talents start to show, and his presence begins to change dynamics in the town. Mysteries about his origin and the nature of his powers recur, keeping stakes high while relationships within the group evolve.
