Mark Grayson is a mostly normal teenager whose life is complicated by the fact that his dad is the planet's top superhero, Omni-Man. After Mark turns seventeen he begins developing his own superpowers and starts training under his father. The series follows Mark as he learns what being a hero actually requires, meets other powered people, and wrestles with the expectations of family, school, and public life. It mixes coming-of-age moments with intense action and moral questions, keeping the focus on how a young person manages newfound strength while trying to figure out who he wants to be.
