In a near future where a government-run Grand Lottery promises unimaginable wealth, a brutal legal loophole lets the killer of the winner claim the jackpot. Katie Kim, a woman, winds up holding the winning ticket by accident. With assassins on her trail and time closing in, she forms an uneasy alliance with Noel Cassidy, an amateur protection agent who wants a cut of the money in exchange for getting her to sundown. They race through a city turned violent and absurd, dodging hired guns, corrupt officials, and frenzy, trying to outsmart a system that encourages murder. The film keeps the tension high while letting humor crack through the danger, focusing on survival, trust, and what people will trade for cash.
