KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World

Yukito, the son of a dubious cult leader, dies after a ritual that goes too far, only to awaken in a world that operates without gods or religion. There the rules of belief are up for grabs and faiths have no seat at the table. Rather than fading into legend, he discovers he can shape the idea of faith from the ground up. Armed with a pragmatic mind, a stubborn streak, and a refusal to surrender to cynicism, he launches a plan to build community and a doctrine that makes sense in this strange place. The result is a fast paced blend of comedy, mystery, and speculative fantasy that asks what faith is and who gets to define it.
