Before the revelation, Alice enjoys an ordinary life, content as a mother and partner. Everything shifts when the police suggest Thomas, the man she loves and father of her child, might actually be Antoine Durieux-Jelosse, the notorious figure blamed for slaughtering his family fifteen years earlier. As suspicion spreads, Alice has to sort through the evidence, rumors, and her own memories while the community watches. The film follows how a single accusation upends domestic routines, strains relationships, and forces each character to question what they thought they knew, or consequences.
