Nadeshiko Kagamihara is a high school girl who recently moved to Yamanashi with curiosity about the region's famous sights, especially Mount Fuji, which even appears on the 1000 yen note. She bikes out toward Motosu hoping to catch a glimpse, but worsening weather halts her and she ends up retreating at dusk. By the time she faints, she's alone in an unfamiliar place with no clear way back to her home. When she regains consciousness, the night is quiet and she feels very far from what she knows. A chance meeting with Rin Shima, a seasoned camper who's quietly setting up under the stars, sparks a friendship centered on outdoor life and simple pleasures. Together they explore forests, lakesides, and campsites, trading tips, meals, and quiet moments that build trust.
