Set in the turbulent Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Legend of Awakening follows Lu Ping after he flees the malevolent hold of Shanhai Tower and comes to an extraordinary realization about himself, awakening six distinct souls within. As he trains under a demanding master, Lu Ping grows in skill and forms close bonds with fellow disciples, while a tender bond develops with the young lady Qin Sang. Everything shifts when a prophetic vision ties him to a decade-old crime in the martial world, forcing him to reconcile conflicting memories and loyalties without revealing how the mystery resolves.

Released in 2020, the series was created by Hudie Lan and directed by He Zhenhua, Jason So, and Jones Wah-Kon Ma. The cast includes Arthur Chen as Lu Ping, Dylan Xiong as Yan Xifan, Cheng Xiao as Qin Sang, Deng Enxi as Su Tang, and Yu Yijie as Mo Lin, bringing the wuxia-inflected drama to life.
