Legend of the Seeker

Richard Cypher is a woodsman who learns he was born to become a guardian for an oppressed people. He is drawn into a grand clash between forces of oppression and a movement for freedom. Alongside Kahlan, a mysterious woman whose powers hint at deeper truths, and Zedd, a wizened wizard with decades of secrets, he leaves behind his quiet life. The trio travels through a land torn by cruelty, greed, and hidden loyalties, pursuing a tyrant bent on domination. As Richard grows into the role foretold for him, he must decide what kind of hero he will be when darkness presses in. The journey tests his courage, faith, and the bonds that hold the companions together under pressure and trust.
