Legends follows Martin Odum, an FBI analyst who operates in deep cover, slipping into of a multitude of identities for dangerous assignments. He can become a Serbian extremist, a corrupt Chicago cop, a British special forces officer, or a famed computer hacker, all to unravel threats and expose conspiracies. But the line between role and self begins to blur when hints arise that his own life may be constructed, a fabrication he might have accepted for the sake of the job. Odum finds himself torn between the mission and the truth about who he really is, a conflict that gnaws at his judgment and loyalties. The pressure intensifies as a labyrinth of doubles closes in. The tension never fully releases as Odum weighs loyalty against truth.

Legends premiered in 2014 on TNT. It was created by Howard Gordon and Robert Littell and adapts Littell's spy novel Legends for television, with direction by multiple directors across episodes. The series blends political intrigue with personal drama and globe trotting set pieces.
