Manuel Jordan walks out of prison after twenty three years behind bars for a fatal robbery gone wrong that claimed a teenager's life. Free at last, he searches for a quiet path back into ordinary life, only to find that forgiveness may be more complicated than he expected. A mysterious minister crosses his path and offers a chance at absolution, while two women in his orbit lean on him in different ways. As Manuel grapples with the weight of the past, the people who offer help pull him toward a fragile form of redemption that tests his resolve and reshapes his future.
