Little Giants

Danny O'Shea, a good natured and plucky father, watches his daughter Becky get chopped from the Peewee team simply because she is a girl. He decides to back a patchwork squad made up of other kids who also got cut, hoping to prove nothing stands in the way of spirit and hard work. The makeshift team trains under Danny's well meaning but imperfect coaching, with goofy enthusiasm and surprising teamwork emerging from imperfect odds. Meanwhile his brother Kevin, a former pro player, leads the town's elite squad and looks down on them.
