About Lost Treasure of Dos Santos
Shaw is a veteran explorer who has spent years chasing distant corners of the map, and Willa is the headstrong daughter of a famed archaeologist. They join forces to pursue a lost hoard described in a weathered journal, drawn by the lure of discovery and the promise of what the past might still yield. The trek pushes them into a rugged mountain landscape where the weather and terrain test their mettle. Hot on their heels is Roy Stark, a determined pursuer who has his own plan for the gold and will not let a moral objection stand in his way. What begins as a careful expedition soon becomes a tense contest over loyalties, greed, and the cost of chasing legends.
Directed by Jorge Montesi and released in 1997, the film is built from an original story by Ed Decatur and Michael De Guzman. It stars Michele Greene, David Carradine, Cathy Lee Crosby, John Wesley Shipp, and Lee Majors.
