Manitou's Canoe

Abahachi, an Apache chief with a knack for mischief, and his white blood brother Ranger keep trying to keep peace on the frontier while staying true to their oddball code of honor. Trouble starts when a flashy new gang shows up, using tricks and traps to snag the fabled "Canoe of Manitou." The pair end up chasing leads, sorting out allies and enemies, and trading barbs as often as bullets. Along the way they meet a motley crew, including Mary and the awkward Wolfgang, and the film keeps swinging between slapstick set pieces and wide open Western setups without giving away how the big conflict resolves.
