Set in the Taiheimeji era under the Tokugawa shogunate, Manyu Scroll imagines a world where a woman's value is measured by the size of her bust. Wealth, fame, and social standing hinge on beauty, while those who fall short are marginalized and invisible. The ruling Manyuu Clan guards a secret scroll said to hold techniques to enlarge breasts, and its power shapes every alliance and feud within the realm. Chifusa Manyu, the clan's heir, steals the scroll and flees, determined to topple a system that profits from girls and women defined by appearance. As she travels, she confronts the cruelty and hypocrisy of a society obsessed with body image. Her choices test loyalty, loyalty to family, clan, and personal ethics.
