Medaka Kurokami is a standout first year at Hanokiwa Academy who secures the student council presidency with an astonishing 98 percent of the vote. She's intelligent, capable, and comes from privilege, yet she wants to use her power to help others. To that end she launches the Medaka Box, a literal suggestion box through which any student can reach out with a problem or request. The premise quickly turns into a running series of challenges as Medaka and her loyal fellow council members tackle a stream of unusual tasks, tests of character, and strange demands from the student body. The show pairs brisk humor with over the top situations inside a bustling school world.

Created by NISIOISIN and Shouji Saeki, Medaka Box aired as an anime in 2012 built on the Medaka Box concept with a lively ensemble cast.
