Moonfall

An unexplained force shoves the Moon off its orbit and sets it on a dangerous collision course with Earth. As the threat looms, a driven former astronaut and a stubborn conspiracy theorist join forces with a small team of scientists and military personnel to figure out what's happening and how to stop it. They chase clues through political smoke screens, risky space missions, and last minute gambles, all while time runs out. The story follows Jocinda Fowler, Brian Harper, KC Houseman and Sonny Harper as they face high stakes choices, roadblocks, and a global effort to save civilization from a celestial disaster. Tension comes from human decisions under pressure.

Directed by Roland Emmerich, Moonfall was written for the screen by Spenser Cohen from a concept by Harald Kloser and Emmerich.
