Moonlit Reunion

Moonlit Reunion follows Mei Zhuyu, a calm noble from a lesser Mei line, who travels to Chang'an to join the Bureau of Mystic Investigations. There he encounters Wu Zhen, the Empress's bold younger sister who secretly guards the Demon Underworld. Both characters hide who they truly are, a half demon in Wu Zhen and a demon slayer in Mei Zhuyu. They chase clues about a fire that burned eighteen years ago as bone demons begin to stalk the capital and unrest spreads. Their partnership deepens into trust and warmth, even as a palace purge looms and threatens to reveal the truths they have kept concealed from the world and from each other. The world blends magic with a political edge.

Directed by Lü Haojiji and created by Fu Hua, Liu Yue and Sun Lin, Moonlit Reunion released in 2025. Xu Kai stars as Mei Zhuyu, Tian Xiwei as Wu Zhen, with Wang Jiayi, Wu Junting and Yi Daqian in roles.
