About Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch follows Ed Deerman, a bitter but sharp witted retiree who once kept others safe and now keeps to the margins of his quiet suburb. A mentally ill young man named Simon believes he has witnessed an abduction, but the cops discount his story as delusion. Frustrated and fearful for the missing woman, Simon pleads with Ed to help verify what he saw. Reluctantly, Ed agrees and uses his old instincts to track down leads, questioning neighbors, watching doors, and staking out the area after dark. As the search intensifies, the trust between two unlikely partners is tested and the case begins to reveal more about the darkness hiding in plain sight.

Directed by Duncan Skiles from an original concept by Sean Farley, Neighborhood Watch arrives as a tense crime thriller in 2025. The cast features Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jack Quaid, and Malin Akerman.

The film probes how memory and perception collide under pressure, turning ordinary streets into potential crime scenes. It digs into trust versus suspicion and the urge to act when institutions doubt you. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid give grounded, wary performances, and the audience response sits around a 6.435 out of 10 from 100 votes.
