Sevgi Ersoy is a high-profile TV presenter whose star has been fading when she shocks the public by marrying Fikret Alabey, a powerful businessman. Both have already lived through difficult marriages and are looking to make the most of a second chance, but marriage brings more than companionship. Their union forces two very different families to share a roof, and old resentments, class tensions and competing expectations leak into everyday life. The show focuses on how these pressures reshape each household, with particular attention on the children, Taylan and Şelale, who end up confined to adjacent rooms as adult conflicts play out around them.
