Two longtime friends, Charlie and Dan, run a Manhattan public relations firm that thrives on big ideas and pitches. With a crucial deal lined up with a Japanese client, they race to seal the contract in two weeks while juggling client demands and media attention. Dan drops a bombshell when a woman he briefly married nearly a decade ago reappears, claiming to be the twins’ mother and announcing she will serve a 14 day jail term for a political protest. Dan volunteers to supervise the children, a seven year old boy and girl, even though he is uptight and unsure of himself.
