Two years after moving to the French countryside and with hunting banned, Adélaïde and Simon find life close to nature can be peaceful yet strangely dull. Desperate for friends, they welcome Bernard's witty son Stan and his chic wife Bennie, whose children are the same age. But what seems like a friendly arrival soon reveals a deeper itch for hunting on horseback with hounds. Stan buys land, bribes locals, and plans to turn the forest into a playground for the ultra rich.
