Our Blues

Our Blues follows an ensemble of residents on Jeju Island, where individual episodes shift focus among lovers, friends, and family across different ages and backgrounds. Rather than centering on a single lead, the series stitches together shorter character arcs that sometimes intersect, giving intimate views of romance, strained parent-child ties, work struggles, and the quiet routines of island life. Small, everyday decisions gradually accumulate into meaningful change, and the tone moves between light humor and more reflective, melancholic moments. Created by Noh Hee-kyung, Our Blues premiered in 2022 and was primarily filmed on Jeju Island. The series assembled a high-profile ensemble, led by Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, and Han Ji-min, attracting wide attention.

The show drew considerable awards attention within South Korea, with critics and industry groups highlighting its performances, writing, and production design.
